Here is another place that is breath taking. Mark Twain dubbed it "The Little Grand Canyon of the Pacific". Funny thing is that he never visited the Waimea Canyon. Transportation can be arranged for the whole family and also a picnic in Kokee Park.

Serena, Bernie and I are working on the Luau for the family as well as other activities throughout the week. We're shooting for Friday,July 2 on the beach in Kekaha. We will be working on a traditional luau. For you malahine we will be serving Poi and raw fish, too. The only thing that will be missing is the Imu Ceremony (board of health restriction). Entertainment by family members and friends. Full participation is recommended to make it a memoriable evening.

How many of you know who this man is?

I find it hard to believe fourteen years has gone by since our last reunion. The date for the upcoming family reunion is July 27, 2010 through August 2, 2010. It will be held on Kauai. Reflecting back, it only reminds me of how important these reunions are to this great family. I cannot help but think of the journey that this family made crossing the Pacific Ocean sailing to Hawaii. Apo Mama and Apo Tatay traveled thousands of miles looking to find, I guess the phrase we would use today would be "The Promise Land".

Is there a better way to start renewing old acquaintances, meeting new additions to the family than to go to your family reunion?
